DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a Manager, Stroke Program (Full Time, Day Shift) to work for the Neuroscience Stroke Clinic.
The Manager, Stroke Program is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the care delivery system and works organizationally to improve service. Creates and implements an operational budget annually, monitoring performance monthly. Responsible for leading, coaching, mentoring and modeling service excellence behaviors to staff. Performs and/or assists with all aspects of human resource management including developing expectations for staff in order to reach "best practice". Works collaboratively to develop methods for improving the quality of care overall. Leads the development and implementations of bundle care process.
In this position you will:
:Work with Administrative Directors, Vice President of Service line, SNI Leaders and Senior Leadership to represent and coordinate internal and external marketing and promotion efforts of Organization as a Stroke Center. Work to develop Stroke Program national recognition.
:Manage work of clinical effectiveness/operations coordinator stroke staff to assure development and implementation of protocols, pathways and documentation templates which reflect current evidence as well as regulatory requirements.
:Work closely with Administrative Directors, VP and Stroke Program Medical Director on strategic planning and program development efforts, including continued and future JC Stroke Center Certification, DOH Stroke Designation and DNV Stroke Certification activities.
:Ensure the provision of patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week; acts as liaison between Stroke Program ARNP/PA staff and Stroke/Neurohospitalist Medical Directors.
EXPERIENCE:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current BLS and NIHSS Certifications
Three years or recent experience in related clinical area of nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities
Strong ability to facilitate group process, develop and prioritize goals and manage objectives
Ability to prepare annual budgets, develop spreadsheets, monitor and analyze financial information and implement operational changes to meet budget targets
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Project management certification
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
