Account Executive / Program Manager

LOCATION: Stamford, CT
DESCRIPTION: Act as account lead on assigned projects (interactive/digital, publications, meetings)
General project management
Prepare for and schedule kick off meetings
Review and approve all project materials
Manage faculty communications and status updates
Initiate internal status meetings with Editorial, Meetings and Art Departments
Manage onsite faculty needs and oversee live meeting execution
Partner with internal meetings department and freelance meeting planners in the execution of meetings
Grant development and budget maintenance
Coordinate educational grant submissions and timelines with the editorial and business development teams
Prepare grant responses and execute online submissions
Research costs and develop program budgets
Manage job costs and reconciliation for all assigned projects
Track invoices and manage all payment activity
Project knowledge
Obtain knowledge of project specifications and end user goals and use to help prioritize with other departments.
Effectively communicate clear direction on program objectives and elements to internal departments.
Problem solve with new business team and internal departments to recommend solutions.
EXPERIENCE: Must have 3 - 5 years of project management experience
Excellent project management, organization, prioritization and communication skills.
Supervisory experience a plus.
Travel required.
EDUCATION: BS/BA degree preferred.
