DESCRIPTION:
The E commerce Marketing Manager will develop assortment plans by category to meet the merchandise needs of (Company) and customers.
The E commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for all details of the product assortment including pricing, design, inventory levels, channels, and promotions
Develop assortment plans by product category to meet sales and profit goals
Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives
Develop sales channels for all products
Directly manage all aspects of the ecommerce channel
Analyze and forecast trends across different product categories (lighting, plumbing, etc.)
Understand and anticipate customers' aesthetic and price needs, as well as cost and margin goals
Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets
Perform competitor and internal product cost and performance analysis
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, price changes, promotions, clear outs, etc.
Utilize data to analyze and report style development status, costs, supply risks and quality concerns
Build constructive customer relationships and team with partners
Work closely with Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure customers' needs are meet
Remain up to date with industry's best practices
All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Solid background (5+ years) in product development, sourcing and/or merchandising
Experience in forecasting product trends
Familiarity with procurement, vendor relations, and logistics
Highly creative, with experience in identifying target audiences
Strong presentation and decision-making skills
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
